Stoning the Pillars on the Days of Tashriq

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 20167 )
Q2: Some pilgrims were convinced that stoning the pillars before the sun passes its zenith, extending from after midnight, is valid. That is, they stone at eleven o'clock at night for the first day of the Days of Tashriq, and stone after one-thirty past midnight for the second day of the Days of Tashriq, believing that they are acting in accordance with the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon himفَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:203]

And thus they perform the Farewell Tawaf and leave Makkah before the sun passes its zenith on the second day of the Days of Tashriq, arguing that whoever remains after the sun passes its zenith will die, meaning from the intensity of the crowd?

A2 : It is not valid to stone the pillars on the Days of Tashriq except after the sun passes its zenith, and the time extends until sunset. There is no harm in stoning at night for the previous day, but it is not permissible to advance the stoning for the upcoming day before the sun passes its zenith on that day. The meaning of the saying of Allah the Exalted:
Then whoever hastens [his departure] in two days - there is no sin upon himفَمَنْ تَعَجَّلَ فِي يَوْمَيْنِ فَلا إِثْمَ عَلَيْهِ
[Al-Baqarah 2:203]
the verse, is that it is permissible for one who has stoned the pillars after the sun passes its zenith on the twelfth day to depart from Mina to Makkah or other places outside Mina before sunset. He is not required to stay overnight on the night of the thirteenth, nor to stone on the thirteenth day. As for the Farewell Tawaf, it is not valid except upon departure after the pilgrim has completed the acts of Hajj. Therefore, the one who departs on the eleventh day does not have a valid Farewell Tawaf, because he still has the obligation to stay overnight in Mina on the night of the twelfth, and to stone after the sun passes its zenith on the twelfth day. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
