A230: Swearing by trust is minor shirk, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade swearing by other than Allah, whether by trust or otherwise. He said
(peace and blessings be upon him):Riyad as-Salihin 1711 And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: And he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sahih al-Bukhari 2679. It is not permissible to swear by other than Allah, by trust or otherwise, and it is shirk, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said.
