The first question of fatwa number ( 16389 )
Q1: I performed Hajj individually, but when we stoned the first pillar of the Jamarat, we returned to our tent and put on our clothes before shaving. Some people told us that we had committed one of the prohibitions of Hajj, and that we must put on our ihram again and then shave, and that we owe a sacrificial animal. What is the ruling?
People say that we committed one of the prohibitions of Hajj, and that we must put on our ihram, then shave our heads, and that we owe a sacrificial animal. What is the ruling?

A : What you did, which was putting on your clothes after stoning the Jamarat of Aqabah and before shaving or cutting the hair, is considered a mistake, unless you had already completed the Tawaf of Ifadah. This is because completing the tahallul requires performing two of these three: stoning, shaving or cutting the hair, and the Tawaf of Ifadah, followed by Sa'y for those who are required to perform Sa'y. However, due to your ignorance of the ruling, you do not owe a fidyah, and your Hajj is valid, if Allah wills. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
