He was unable to stay overnight at Muzdalifah due to the crowd

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third and fourth questions of Fatwa No. ( 16407 )
Q3: Due to the severe congestion during last year's Hajj, some pilgrims were unable to stay overnight at Muzdalifah because it was difficult to reach, and some of them got lost and missed it. What should they do?
A3: If one was unable to stay overnight at Muzdalifah due to the congestion, then the obligation to stay overnight is dropped from him. However, if one got lost and stayed overnight elsewhere, he is required to offer a sacrificial animal; because he could have asked about Muzdalifah and found his way to it, so he is negligent in not asking.
