Q2: I would like details on how to pay zakah on a grocery store after a year has passed?
A2: To pay zakah on a grocery store, you must appraise the goods in it when the lunar year of possession is completed, either based on their current value or the price at which they were purchased, as they are worth at the end of the year. Then, you pay one-fortieth of their appraised value. And Allah knows best. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
