The first and second questions from Fatwa number ( 18637 )
Q1: A person went to Hajj and entered the state of ihram for tamattu'. After completing his 'Umrah, he wanted to go to al-Madinah for a visit. What should he do? Should he enter the Haram again in his regular clothes, then enter ihram for Hajj at its time with the people, or should he enter in a state of ihram and build his Hajj upon this new 'Umrah?
A1 : One who travels to al-Madinah after performing 'Umrah to visit the Noble Prophet's Mosque , and wants to return to Makkah to perform Hajj as a mutamatti', then when he passes
by the miqat of al-Madinah, he should enter ihram for a second 'Umrah or enter ihram for Hajj, and remain in his state of ihram until he performs Hajj. He must not pass the miqat without being in ihram, since he has passed it intending to perform Hajj. This is the most cautious course of action.
