Q2: Is it obligatory for one who intends to perform Hajj or 'Umrah to remove excess hair and trim his nails before entering ihram, and does leaving them as they are
diminish the validity of the Hajj or 'Umrah?

A2 : Removing excess hair and trimming the nails before entering ihram is recommended (mustahabb) and not obligatory. So if the one in ihram leaves them, there is no sin on him and his worship is valid.
