The ruling on trimming the nails and trimming the mustache after entering the state of ihram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The message has just reached us from Baqiyah from pilgrims (H. S. Q) and (M. N. D) asking about ihram. They say: When we reached the miqat, we performed the ablution for prayer, then we entered the state of ihram, and after that we trimmed our nails and trimmed our mustaches. After that, we responded with the talbiyah for Hajj. Is our ihram valid, or is it necessary to remove these things before wearing the ihram garments? Knowing that this was done before the intention or before the talbiyah. May Allah reward you.
Answer: There is no harm in any of this. If he trims his mustache and trims his nails after wearing the garments—wearing the izar or the rida—or before that, before the intention, there is nothing wrong with it. It is all good. The point is: he should take a bath, apply perfume, trim his nails, trim his mustache, and pluck his armpits if there is anything there, before he makes the intention, before he intends the 'Umrah or Hajj, and before he responds with the talbiyah as well. This is the best. If he leaves that alone, and he did not trim anything from his mustache or nails, and did not take a bath or apply perfume, there is no blame on him. All of these are recommended. If he entered the state of ihram without taking a bath, without applying perfume, and without trimming his mustache or nails, his Hajj is valid and his 'Umrah is valid, and praise be to Allah. These are merely recommended matters when entering the state of ihram. If he did that on the way, or in his house in the middle of the journey, an hour or two before entering the state of ihram, or so, or if he trimmed his mustache on the way, or trimmed his nails on the way, or plucked his armpits on the way, that is sufficient. Or if he did it in his house in the town, all of this is spacious by the praise of Allah. Yes.
