The ruling on treating oneself with the lawful Ruqyah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q131: The questioner asks: What is the ruling on abandoning treatment with the lawful Ruqyah and relying solely on tawakkul (reliance upon Allah), based on the hadith of the seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning or punishment?
A131: The hadith of the seventy thousand does not preclude Ruqyah. There is no harm in a person performing Ruqyah on himself with what is prescribed. As for seeking Ruqyah from
people, this involves a need for others. A person can be self-sufficient and it is disliked for a person to have Ruqyah performed on him, given the dislike; except if he needs it, for the need permits the disliked act.
