Ruling on describing the wind as severe and disturbing

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q 67: This questioner asks: What is the ruling on some people describing the wind as violent, or disturbing, or raging? And what is the ruling on describing some medicines as overpowering the disease and the like?
A 67: Describing it as severe or as raging, this is mentioned in the Qur'an. Allah the Exalted said:
And as for 'Aad, they were destroyed by a screaming, violent windوَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ
[Al-Haqqah 69:6]
, so there is nothing wrong with describing it in that way, and this is not an insult to the wind; rather, it is a description of its nature. Likewise, medicines are described by their contents and their effects; it is said: this is a beneficial medicine, or this is a harmful medicine, or this is a medicine that has negative side effects, so what is in it of benefit or harm is made clear.
