Ruling on the prayer of one who doubts whether wind has passed from him

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
When I enter into prayer, it seems to me that wind is coming out of me, but I do not perceive any sound or smell. However, when I feel this, I control myself and press down on myself until the prayer is finished. What is required of me?

Answer:
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about a man who feels something in his prayer, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
He should not return (from prayer) unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell (of passing wind).لا ينصرف حتى يسمع صوتًا أو يجد ريحًا
Sahih Muslim 361
, and in another wording:
If any of you has a pain in his abdomen, but is doubtful whether or not anything has issued from him, he should not leave the mosque unless he hears a sound or perceives a smell.إذا وجد أحدكم في بطنه شيئًا فأشكل عليه أخرج منه شيء أم لا؟ فلا يخرجن من المسجد حتى يسمع صوتًا أو يجد ريحًا
Mishkat al-Masabih 306

Therefore, the one to whom it seems that something has come out of him does not invalidate his ablution or his prayer; rather, he remains in his state of valid ablution, and his prayer is valid.
And if he knows with certainty that wind or urine has come out of him, the purity is invalidated and the prayer is invalidated. But if it is merely doubt, his prayer and his ablution are valid; because this is from the whispers of Satan.
