A: If the person to whom you gave the zakah is poor, it is sufficient even if he was not informed that it is zakah. However, if he does not accept zakah, it is recommended that
he be informed that it is zakah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
