Q1: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: What is meant by the supplication of the fasting person when he breaks his fast , does it refer to the supplication of the fasting person moments before breaking the fast, or immediately after breaking the fast?
A1: The hadith was narrated by Ibn Majah , who said in (Al-Zawa'id): Its chain of narration is authentic,
and the supplication is both before and after breaking the fast; because the word: (at the time of) includes both cases. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
