The sale of shoes lined on the inside with tanned pigskin

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 21113 )
Q: What is the ruling on selling shoes lined on the inside with pigskin after it has been properly tanned?
A: It is not permissible to sell shoes that contain any part of pigskin; because it is ritually impure in itself, and Allah the Exalted said:
Prohibited to you are dead animals, blood, the flesh of swineحُرِّمَتْ عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَيْتَةُ وَالدَّمُ وَلَحْمُ الْخِنْـزِيرِ
[Al-Ma'idah 5:3]
, and the prohibition of the pig includes all of its parts, such as its skin and others. The specific mention of the meat is because it is the part from which the most benefit is derived.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
