The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 19327 )
Q4: Whatis the ruling on fulfilling a need for a person in a certain country while taking the cost of the trip?
A4: If one performs a service for his brother in another country, there is nothing wrong with him taking a fee for his travel and expenses, provided that the work he performed is prescribed and that it is done with the consent of both parties; for this falls under the category of a fee for
benefit, and that is permissible in the Shari'ah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
