Q3: A woman has sheep. One night, a goat came with her sheep, and no one came to ask about it. Since she is a woman, she was unable to identify it. The goat gave birth to three offspring, and she sold the mother goat. What is the ruling regarding the value of this goat, and what should she do with the three remaining offspring? May Allah reward you with good.
A3: It is obligatory for the woman to return the value of the goat and its offspring to its owner or his heirs if he is not found. If that is not possible, she should give it in charity to the poor on behalf of the owner, after deducting what she spent on it.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
