Marriage to the sister of one's wife

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: A man married his cousin's daughter, then married another woman. After they had children, it turned out that the first woman was the maternal aunt of the second. What is his obligation regarding them?
A: If the situation is as described, then the marriage to the second woman, whom he married after the first, is invalid; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade marrying a woman along with her paternal or maternal aunt. It is not permissible for him to marry the second woman until he divorces the first and her waiting period ('iddah) from him has ended.
