Q: I have a sister’s son, and he has a daughter. I am interested in marrying her. Is it permissible for me to marry her or not? I ask you, may Allah preserve you, to kindly answer this question.
A: It is not permissible for you to marry the woman mentioned; because she is the daughter of your sister’s son. And Allah the Exalted said regarding those who are forbidden in marriage: , and this includes her daughter from her loins and the daughters of her sons. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
