Feeding livestock with chicken droppings, which is harmful

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Praise be to Allah alone, and may peace and blessings be upon the one after whom there is no prophet. Then:
The Permanent Committee for Scholarly Research and Ifta has reviewed what was sent to His Eminence the Grand Mufti from the questioner: the Deputy Minister of Health, and referred to the Committee by the General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars with number (3353) and date 20/3/1423 AH. The questioner asked a question, the text of which is as follows: Referring to the letter from His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Interior, number (29 1912) and date 7/1/1423 AH (attached), which stated that: (M. A. S.), one of the livestock traders in the province of Bisha , feeds the livestock he owns for the purpose of trade with chicken droppings (chicken manure). He possesses a huge number of camels and cattle and carries out the feeding process before sale. When his matter was exposed in the province, people refrained from buying them, which led him to market them outside the province. From a health perspective, the possibility of diseases occurring in animals and humans is a real concern, and the problem of mad cow disease occurred when cattle were fed a diet of bones and livestock remains. The Ministry of Health considers it impermissible to feed camels and livestock with poultry remains or any other animal waste due to the potential harm to public health. Therefore, I hope Your Eminence will, based on the directive of His Excellency the Minister of Health, clarify the Sharia ruling on feeding livestock with poultry remains.

It was narrated from 'Ubadah bin Samit that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) ruled: “There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm.”لا ضرر ولا ضرار
