The practice of reciting a surah or more from the short surahs of the final part of the Qur'an in all of the tarawih prayers

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third and fourth questions of Fatwa No. ( 16396 )
Q3: In our mosque, the tarawih prayer in Ramadan is twenty rak'ahs. In the first half of Ramadan, we recite from Surah al-Takathur to Surah Tabbat ten times and Surah al-Ikhlas ten times. In the second half, we recite Surah
al-Qadr instead of al-Ikhlas, and from al-Takathur to Tabbat?

A3: The Sunnah for the night prayer in Ramadan (tarawih) is for the Muslims to pray it in congregation in the mosques with tranquility, humility, and composure in standing, bowing, and prostrating. It is a blessed occasion for presenting the Qur'an to the hearts of the Muslims and for them to hear the verses of their Lord. As for what you mentioned regarding the practice of reciting a surah or more from the short surahs of the final part of the Qur'an in all of the tarawih prayers, we do not know this from the guidance of the predecessors of this Ummah. The good lies in following them and acting in a way that achieves the purpose of the Shari'ah in the legislation of this prayer.
