Going to the Mosques to Attend the Completion of the Qur'an

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The third question of Fatwa No. ( 18426 )
Q3: We are in one of the town's mosques, and we do not complete the recitation of the Qur'an in the month of Ramadan because the imam hands the leading of the prayer over to the young men, who recite the Qur'an with beautiful intonation—may Allah reward them with good—which leads to the completion of the Qur'an being delayed. Is it permissible for me to go to one of the neighboring mosques when I know that the imam of that mosque will complete the recitation of the Qur'an on this night, given that I have not prayed behind this imam except on the night of completing the Qur'an?
A3: It is recommended to make supplication upon the completion of the Qur'an in the tarawih prayer, and it is recommended to attend it, as many of the Salaf did so. There is nothing wrong with going to the mosques to attend the completion of the Qur'an. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
