Praying tarawih with the imam and leaving the witr, then praying witr before sleeping

The second question of fatwa number ( 18344 )
Q2: I am, praise be to Allah, consistent in praying the night prayer (tarawih) with the imam, and I have made it a habit to pray the witr before I sleep, even when traveling. So, I pray all the rak'ahs with the imam except for the witr prayer, which I leave until I pray it before I sleep, so what is better according to the righteous Salaf: should I complete the night prayer with the imam up to the witr and the supplication, or should I pray only the night prayer and then pray the witr before sleeping? And if praying up to the supplication is better, how do I pray before I sleep: an even number or an odd number, or is there no prayer after I have prayed the witr with the imam?
A2: It is better to complete the tarawih and witr prayers with the imam, based on the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him):Jami` at-Tirmidhi 806Sahih (Darussalam) , and if you wish to pray after that from the night, pray whatever you wish, but do not repeat the witr; rather, be content with the witr you prayed with the imam. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

Indeed, whoever stands (praying) with the Imam until he finished, then it is recorded for him that he prayed the whole night.
