The seventh question of the fatwa numbered ( 16402 )
Q7: Regarding WitrSahih Muslim 751b what should a person do if he prays Witr at the beginning of the night and wants to stand in prayer at the end of the night ?
A7: If he prays Witr at the beginning of the night and it is decreed for him to rise at the end of the night, he should pray whatever is easy for him and not repeat Witr, but rather be content with the Witr he prayed at the beginning of the night. However, if he is confident that he will rise at the end of the night, he should delay Witr until the end of the night, and that is better, as the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) guided to this by saying:Sahih Muslim 751b Agreed upon by al-Bukhari and Muslim. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
