What Invalidates Fasting

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q: Since we provide a health service in the region of Tabuk , which consists of: drawing 5 cm of blood with a single needle for the purpose of testing expatriate workers to obtain residency permits. Drawing 18 cm of blood for a separate independent test called a "blood fingerprint" analysis. The question here is: Does drawing blood in the amounts mentioned above
break the fast of the person fasting? And does the ruling differ depending on the amount of blood drawn? Please inform us, may Allah reward you with good.

A: Drawing a small amount of blood from a person fasting does not invalidate his fast; because what breaks the fast of the person fasting is drawing a large amount of blood by cupping or the like.
