A man kissing his wife during the day in Ramadan: does it invalidate the fast?

Question: If a man kisses his wife during the day in Ramadan or caresses her, does it invalidate his fast or not? Please inform us; may Allah reward you.

Answer: A man kissing his wife, caressing her, and touching her without intercourse while fasting is all permissible, and there is no blame on him. This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to kiss while fasting and touch while fasting. However, if he fears falling into what Allah has forbidden him because he is quick to arousal, it is disliked for him to do so. If he ejaculates, he must abstain from food and drink and make up the day, and there is no expiation on him according to the majority of scholars.
As for pre-seminal fluid, it does not invalidate the fast according to the more correct of the scholars' opinions. This is because the original state is purity and the fast remains valid, and because it is difficult to guard against it. And success is from Allah.
