Entering the mosque and finding the people in prostration
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q3: I entered the mosque and found the people in prostration. Should I say one takbir and sit with them, or two takbirs and sit with them? May Allah guide our scholars and the scholars of the Muslims to what is good.
A3: If you enter the mosque and the imam has already prostrated, you should say the takbir of ihram while standing, then say the takbir for prostration and prostrate with them. Then, when the imam says the taslim, you should repeat this rak'ah by standing up and performing a rak'ah; because a rak'ah is considered caught by catching the ruku' with the imam. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
