The Time for the Takbir of Prostration

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
A message was received by the program from one of the listening brothers, containing some questions. The listener is the servant of Allah, Abu 'Abd al-Rahman al-Tahir ibn 'Uthman ibn 'Ali. Our brother asks about the takbir for prostration: when does it occur? Is it when one has already prostrated on the ground, or when one is descending into prostration?

Answer:
The takbir for prostration is said when descending; one says Allahu Akbar while descending to the ground. He begins the descent and finishes the takbir before reaching the ground. Similarly, when rising, he says the takbir when he rises and finishes it before fully standing up. Likewise, if he is sitting, when he rises from the first prostration, he says the takbir when he rises from the first prostration, before fully sitting down. This is the prescribed manner: to say the takbir when rising and when descending for prostration. Yes.

The presenter: May Allah reward you with good.
