Exiting from the middle of a row that blocks one’s path while people are praying in congregation
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 16904 )
Q 1: An imam led a congregation in prayer, and after the taslim, another group arrived and prayed, while one person from the first group was still praying the sunnah. When he finished the sunnah, he crossed the second group from the middle and did not take another route. Is this action valid?
A 1: If a person needs to leave the mosque while people are praying, there is no harm in exiting from the middle of the row that blocks his path if he finds no other way. If he finds a way to the right or left of the row, he should exit from there so as not to disturb the worshippers.
And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
