A 2: It is permissible to perform the voluntary prayers after the midday prayer, but it is not permissible after the afternoon prayer; because it is one of the times of prohibition, except for those with a cause, such as the two rak'ahs of tawaf, the eclipse prayer, and the greeting of the mosque. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
