A: It is prescribed in the prayer of istikharah that each person prays and seeks the best for himself, and it is not permissible for a person to perform the prayer of istikharah on behalf of another. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
