Greeting of al-Masjid al-Haram

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of fatwa number ( 16474 )

Vol. 2: Yes, the tawaf of the Noble Ka'bah is the greeting of al-Masjid al-Haram for the one who arrives from a journey. And whoever is unable to perform tawaf, let him pray two rak'ahs before he sits, due to the generality of the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فلا يجلس حتى يصلي ركعتين If anyone of you enters a Mosque, he should not sit until he has offered a tworak` at prayer.Sahih al-Bukhari 1167 . As for the resident of Makkah , the greeting of al-Masjid al-Haram for him is the prayer of two rak'ahs, like the other mosques. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
