The ruling on the greeting prayer of the mosque after 'Asr

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Question:
Is the greeting prayer of the mosque recommended between 'Asr and Maghrib?

Answer:
Yes, if one enters the mosque, he should pray two rak'ahs before Maghrib as the sunnah greeting prayer of the mosque; based on his saying (peace and blessings be upon him):
If anyone of you enters a Mosque, he should not sit until he has offered a tworak` at prayer.إذا دخل أحدكم المسجد فلا يجلس حتى يصلي ركعتين
Sahih al-Bukhari 1167
whether in the Sacred Mosque or in any other mosque. And if he performed tawaf, the two rak'ahs of tawaf suffice if he performed tawaf in the Sacred Mosque around the Ka'bah, then he prayed two rak'ahs after tawaf, that suffices for both the tawaf and the greeting prayer of the mosque. And if he is in other mosques and arrives before sunset, it is better for him to pray two rak'ahs as the greeting prayer of the mosque, then sit.
