Burying the dead whose bodies are mixed together in such incidents

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Q46: If a collision occurs and the bodies are torn apart inside the cars, mixing with one another, making it difficult to distinguish each person's body individually or to extract it, or even parts of it, and this may sometimes become impossible, what should be done in this case? Are the cars buried with what is inside them after extracting whatever can be extracted? And how is the prayer performed for them?
A46: First: The prayer is performed for all of them after washing whatever of them can be washed. If only parts of them remain, the prayer is performed for the remaining parts. Likewise, the prayer is performed for the burned as well. Second: It is obligatory to bury every dead person in a grave specific to him, and one must strive to distinguish some from others as much as possible. Third: It is obligatory to extract all remaining parts of the dead person from the cars if possible, and his parts are buried with him in his grave; they are not buried with the crushed cars. Whatever cannot be extracted from them is buried with the parts of the car.
