Praying in a mosque in which a dead person has been buried
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 6425 ):
Q2: Is it permissible to pray in a mosque in which a dead person or dead people have been buried out of necessity, given that there is no other mosque available, knowing that if I do not pray there, I will not be able to pray in congregation or on Friday?
A2: It is obligatory to exhume the grave or graves of those buried there and move them to the public cemetery or something similar, and bury them there. It is not permissible to pray in it while the grave or graves are in it.
Rather, you must seek out another mosque for the Friday prayer and congregational prayer to the best of your ability. And success is from Allah. May Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
