A 1 : This is something that some people say out of optimism that the life of the person to whom this phrase is directed will be filled with good. The Sunnah is to offer condolences and make supplications with what has been transmitted and what is beneficial for the living and the deceased, due to the virtue and reward in it. It was narrated from Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:Sunan Ibn Majah 1602Da’if (Darussalam) It was narrated by al-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah . And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
