Leaving the congregation out of fear of seeing what is wrong

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 15562 )
Q 2: If we reside in some of the Islamic countries where we hear the adhan, but we fear that if we go to the mosque we will see naked women or that one of us will be exposed to fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) , and likewise they commit bid'ah (religious innovation) in their prayers, so we pray in congregation in the hotel in our room, one of us calls the adhan and iqamah and we pray in congregation, what is your opinion on that?
A 2: Going to the mosque upon hearing the adhan is better for you. As for what you mentioned regarding the presence of fitnah (trial, discord or temptation) on your way from women, you can avoid it by lowering the gaze or choosing another route. As for what you mentioned regarding the presence of bid'ah (religious innovation) in some mosques, it can be addressed either by going to a mosque free of that if possible. If that is not possible, then if the bid'ah (religious innovation) is shirki (related to shirk, associating partners with Allah) such as calling upon other than Allah or seeking aid from other than Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He), and the imam of the mosque does this, then the prayer behind him is not valid. If the bid'ah (religious innovation) is not shirki, such as collective du'a' (supplication) or raising the hands after the obligatory prayer, then this does not prevent praying in the mosque, provided you advise the one who does it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
