The fourth question of Fatwa No. ( 16149 )
Q4: A man does not attend the prayer on the grounds that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to one of his Companions: , what is the opinion of our scholars regarding that?
A4: It is not permissible to leave the congregational prayer in the mosque except for a valid religious excuse
such as illness or fear, and what was reported from him (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding the urging to stay in one's home means withdrawing from fitnah and evils, and it does not mean leaving Jumu'ah and the congregation. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
