Q: There is a teacher from one of the Arab countries who comes to the Kingdom at the beginning of the school year and leaves after the end of the school year , and this teacher shortens the prayer for the entire duration of his stay in the Kingdom. Is this permissible or not?
A: It is obligatory for the aforementioned teacher to complete the prayer and fast Ramadan if he comes to teach and intends to stay for more than four days; because he is considered a resident. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
