Q: We bring to your attention that the advanced joint command in Kuwait and its members pray the prayers in full and establish the Friday prayer . This is merely an opinion, as they reside in buildings. Although we do not know when we will be ordered to move to our country or any other place, we therefore hope to be guided by a legal ruling: Do we pray the five prayers in full? And is the Friday prayer obligatory upon us?
A: It is obligatory for them to complete the prayer because they intend to stay for more than
four days. As for the Friday prayer, they do not establish it on their own, but rather they pray with others in the nearby mosques where the Friday prayer is established; because it is obligatory for them along with the other residents; due to the generality of the evidence. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
