The latecomer upon completing his prayer: is he considered separate from the congregation?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The second question of Fatwa No. ( 19080 )
Q 2:Is the one who joins the prayer late considered a solitary individual when he completes his prayer?, and from this, the rulings of the solitary individual apply to him, such as the obligation to place a barrier (sutrah) and the like, or is he still connected to the imam, completing his prayer as if he is in congregational prayer, and from this, he does not place a barrier and follows the imam in all of his prayer, acting in accordance with the hadith:
The Imam is appointed to be followed, so when he says the takbir, say the takbirإنما جعل الإمام ليؤتم به فإذا كبر فكبروا
Sunan an-Nasa'i 921Sahih (Darussalam)
؟

A 2: Whoever catches a rak'ah or more with the imam has caught the congregation. What he makes up of his missed prayer does not remove him from being a ma'mum (one praying behind the imam); he has a strong connection to his imam. Accordingly, his imam's sutrah is his sutrah. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
