Bringing a child to the middle of the row in prayer
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa number ( 16837 )
Q1: Is it valid to bring a child to the middle of the row in prayer ? And what is the ruling on the prayer of the person behind him?
A1 : If the child is of discernment, being seven years old or older, he is ordered to pray and stands in the row; because his prayer is valid, and there is no harm in his being in the row. And Ibn 'Abbas stood beside the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a boy in the night prayer. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
