Congregational prayer after the sun has risen for the Fajr prayer

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
Fatwa number ( 15505 )
Q: Is it valid—permissible— to perform congregational prayer after the sun has risen for the Fajr prayer ?
A: It is obligatory for one who missed the prayer to make it up in congregation, even after the time has passed, if that is feasible; for it is established from 'Imran ibn Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said:
We traveled with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and when it was the end of the night, we slept and did not wake up until the heat of the sun woke us. So a man among us would stand up in a daze to perform his ablution, then he ordered Bilal to give the adhan, then he prayed two rak'ahs before the Fajr, then he gave the iqamah and we prayed.
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
