The menstrual period was delayed past its usual time, then blood appeared that differed from the usual pattern

The second question of Fatwa No. ( 21041 )
Q2: A woman’s period was delayed, and she thought it would not come that month. After about two weeks had passed from the expected date, blood appeared that was not
normal
in color, not red, without the pain of menstruation, and not continuous; it stops for about four hours and then returns in drops. She does not use any pills. What is your opinion on this?

A2: If the blood that came from her coincided with the days of her usual menstruation, it is considered menstruation, even if it is light. If it occurred outside the days of her usual period, she should not pay attention to it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
