The first question of Fatwa number ( 18420 )
Q1: What is the authenticity of the hadith in which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Jibril: "Where do you bring this Qur'an from?" He said: "O Muhammad, I bring it from veils that extend to the hand that gives me the Qur'an, and I do not know from where... etc." One of the brothers heard this from some of the shaykhs, so what is your opinion?
A1 : This is one of the hadiths fabricated by the Zinadiqah against the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). You must clarify this matter to anyone who has been exposed to this hadith, so that they do not fall into the intent of the Zinadiqah in fabricating it. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
