The first question of Fatwa number ( 2024 )
Q1: Did the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) enter the state of ihram and perform the ritual bath from al-Madinah al-Munawwarah ?
A1: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) entered the state of ihram from Dhul-Hulayfah , meaning: he declared his intention for the pilgrimage and responded to the talbiyah from there, not from al-Madinah . This is because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) designated the spatial miqats for the rites of Hajj and 'Umrah, so he made Dhul-Hulayfah the miqat for the people of al-Madinah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never commanded something and then contradicted it. It is established from Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that he said: narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim . It is also established from Salim ibn 'Abdullah ibn 'Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that he heard his father say: Sahih al-Bukhari 1541 , narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim. He also performed the ritual bath at Dhul-Hulayfah ; as reported from Kharijah ibn Zayd
ibn Thabit from his fatherMishkat al-Masabih 2547 , narrated by al-Tirmidhi and he graded it as good. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) designated Dhul-Hulayfah for the people of al-Madinah, al-Juhfah for the people of ash-Sham, Qarn al-Manazil for the people of Najd, and Yalamlam for the people of Yemen. These are for them and for anyone who comes upon them from among those who are not their people, from those who intend Hajj or 'Umrah. And whoever is from a place closer than that, then from where he begins, even the people of Makkah from Makkah.
Never did Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) assume Ihram except at the Mosque, that is, at the Mosque of Dhul-Hulaifa.
ما أهلَّ رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلا من عند المسجد، يعني: مسجد ذي الحليفةibn Thabit from his father
he saw the Prophet strip to put on his ihram , and bathe
أنه رأى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم تجرد لإهلاله واغتسل
