Q 1: Is reciting the Qur'an with a recording device forbidden or permissible?
A 1 : Reciting the Qur'an in a correct, melodic manner, without any grammatical error or elongation that alters the intended meaning of the verse, is permissible, whether the recitation is recorded on a tape, such as the recitations of the imams of the Makkah Haram, or of Shaykh al-Hudhayfi , or al-Husari , or is not recorded; all of this is acceptable. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
