The first question of Fatwa No. ( 21368 )
Q1: Two sheets have come into my possession, the content of which are hadiths from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) regarding some of the surahs of the Qur'an, stating: Ten things prevent ten things : 1 - Al-Fatihah prevents the anger of Allah.
2 - Yasin prevents thirst on the Day of Resurrection. 3 - Al-Insan prevents the terrors of the Day of Resurrection. 4 - Al-Waqi'ah prevents poverty. 5 - Tabaarak prevents the punishment of the grave. 6 - Al-Kawthar prevents dispute. 7 - Al-Kafirun prevents disbelief at the time of death. 8 - Al-Ikhlas prevents hypocrisy. 9 - Al-Falaq prevents envy. 10 - Al-Nas prevents whisperings. The second sheet contains: The first hadith: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O 'Ali , do not sleep before you bring five things : 1 - Reciting the entire Qur'an. 2 - Giving charity of four thousand dirhams. 3 - Visiting the Ka'bah . 4 - Securing your place in Paradise. 5 - Satisfying your opponents. Then 'Ali (may Allah honor his face) said: How, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 1 - Do you not know that if you recite (Say: He is Allah, the One) three times, you have
I read the entire Qur'an. 2 - And if you recite al-Fatihah four times, you have given charity of four thousand dirhams. 3 - And if you say: "There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner, to Him belongs dominion and to Him belongs praise, He gives life and causes death, and He is over all things competent," ten times, you have visited the Ka'bah. 4 - And if you say: "There is no power and no strength except with Allah, the Most High, the Greatest," ten times, you have secured your place in Paradise. 5 - And if you say: "I seek forgiveness from Allah, the Great, who has no god but He, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I repent to Him," you have satisfied your opponents. The second hadith: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever does not pray the Fajr prayer has no light on his face . Whoever does not pray the Zuhr prayer has no blessing in his provision. Whoever does not pray the 'Asr prayer has no good in his life. Whoever does not pray the Maghrib prayer has no fruit in his children. Whoever does not pray the 'Isha' prayer has no rest in his sleep. The third hadith: He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There will come upon my Ummah [the Muslim community] a time when they will love five things and forget five things: 1 - They will love the creation and forget the Creator.
2 - They love wealth and forget the Reckoning. 3 - They love sins and forget repentance. 4 - They love palaces and forget graves. 5 - They love this world and forget the Hereafter. My question, O honorable Shaykh: Are these aforementioned hadiths authentic from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), since they are published and distributed from time to time, especially in the House of Allah, Makkah (may Allah protect it)? I ask for clarification and to be informed about them, may you be rewarded.
A1: These hadiths have not been attributed to any of the books of the Sunnah, and we do not know of any basis for them after searching for them, so it is obligatory to prevent their distribution and publication. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad and his family and companions.
