Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of fatwa number ( 20384 )
Q 1: One of my non-Muslim workers converted to Islam, and a few hours after his conversion, he asked for a mushaf to read the Qur'an and its translation, and a few days later he asked to travel to perform 'Umrah. The question is: can he immediatelytouch the mushaf and travel to the sacred land of Allahor should I wait until his Islam improves and I am sure of his status and the sincerity of his religion, for example, for a year or more?
A 1 : If you are certain of the validity of the aforementioned person's Islam, it is permissible for you to give him the mushaf to read from it, and it is permissible for you to travel with him to perform 'Umrah and Hajj so that he can perform these rites, and you will be rewarded, if Allah wills; because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
If anyone summons other to follow right guidance, his reward will be equivalent to that of the people who follow himمن دعا إلى هدى كان له من الأجر مثل أجور من تبعه
Sunan Abi Dawud 4609Sahih (Al-Albani)
, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
And Allah is engaged in helping the worshipper as long as the worshipper is engaged in helping his brother.والله في عون العبد ما كان العبد في عون أخيه
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 1425Sahih (Darussalam)
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
