Allah’s Speech in the Night Journey and Ascension of the Prophet

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The sixth question of Fatwa No. ( 17882 )
Q 6: It is said: When the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke with Allah during the Night Journey and Ascension, He spoke to him through an angel, by means of inspiration that Allah placed in the angel.
A 6: This statement is incorrect, for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was taken on the Night Journey to
Al-Aqsa, then he was raised to the heavens, and Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) spoke to His Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) without any intermediary, and He made the prayers obligatory upon him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept reviewing the matter of the prayers with his Lord until they settled at five prayers, which are fifty in reward. And Allah (Mighty and Majestic) said:
I have decreed (the reward for) My obligation, and I have reduced the burden for My slavesأمضيت فريضتي وخففت عن عبادي
Sunan an-Nasa'i 448
. This hadith is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), indeed it is mass-transmitted. And He (Glorified and Exalted is He) spoke to Musa (Moses) in direct speech, and likewise He spoke to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) when he was raised to the heavens and the five prayers were made obligatory. He (Glorified and Exalted is He) speaks when He wills, with speech befitting His Majesty, not resembling His creation in any of His attributes, as Allah (Glorified and Exalted is He) said:
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
