The Neighbor Who Is a Relative, the Neighbor Who Is Not, the Companion in Travel, and the Traveler
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 20984 )
Q 1: What is the neighbor who is a relative, the neighbor who is not, the companion in travel, and the traveler?
A 1: The neighbor who is a relative is: one who has kinship with you, so he has two rights: the right of neighborliness and the right of kinship. The neighbor who is not a relative is: one who has no kinship with you, and the closer he is in terms of the door, the stronger his right becomes. It was said that the companion in travel is: the woman, and it was said: it is the companion in travel, and it was said: it is the companion in general, and the term is suitable for generality, so the companion has a right over his companion that is in addition to his mere Islam, and the more the
companionship increases, the stronger the right becomes. And the traveler is: the stranger who passes through on a journey, so he has the right to be honored, made comfortable, and helped to reach his destination according to one's ability. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
